Social enterprise’s premier, national convening: Summit ’17 in Los Angeles, CA

Social Enterprise Alliance empowers social enterprises with the tools and resources they need to succeed, and works to foster a social enterprise ecosystem in which they can thrive. Since our founding, we have convened the robust social enterprise field – practitioners, enthusiasts, experts, funders and more – at the Summit.

In 2017, we gathered in sunny Los Angeles for two days of networking, building community and exploring innovation across the sector. Featuring the perspectives of over 75 speakers and distinguished changemakers revolutionizing the field, we covered a wide range of topics including utilizing public policy to advance your mission, impact measurement strategies, mastering mindful storytelling, diversity and inclusion in social enterprise and how to navigate scaling up.

If you missed it, here you’ll find photos of the event, footage of our opening plenary and a link to the first episode in our new podcast series, featuring an interview with Steph Speirs of Solstice, live recorded at Summit ‘17!

We are exceedingly grateful to all of our sponsors, community partners, the SEA Los Angeles Host Committee and to all our attendees for a powerful Summit ‘17. We hope you’re feeling reenergized and inspired to keep driving ahead the mission of social enterprise. We’ll see you in two years at Summit ‘19!
